Grossman recently donated art for two very worthy organizations, the Lawrence Arts Center and the Symphony in the Flint Hills.
Grossman donated October Hills, 12 x 36 in, oil on canvas, to the 2021 Symphony in the Flint Hills benefit auction. The work was shown in the Symphony in the Flint Hills gallery in Cottonwood Falls, May 1 through June 15 and sold in the online auction for well over market value.

The 2020-2021 edition of Audubon of Kansas’s Prairie Wings featured a story on Grossman’s work by Elizabeth Schultz.


Grossman was commissioned to do a 60 x 60 inch canvas of the Kansas River for the new Lawrence Memorial Hospital West, in Lawrence, Kansas. The painting depicts a stretch of the river five miles northwest of the hospitals’ location. It was featured in an article in the Lawrence Journal World, Sunday, September 12, 2020.

Grossman showed new work at Strecker Nelson West (SNW) from August 21 to September 30, 2020. Grossman gave a virtual tour on Facebook on August 21 that you can view here. Visit the gallery by appointment.

Grossman is pleased to launch her new artist web site with special thanks to Derek Hamm for the custom Word Press design.
The Summer 2020 edition of Lawrence Magazine featured art and photography from local artists including Grossman’s poster of Riverfront Park. You can also view a virtual gallery talk about the project sponsored by the Lawrence Public Library here.
This project was also featured in the Kansas Alumni magazine.
Auction bidding was online and ran through July 18, 2020. Grossman’s donated piece, “Channel Changes,” a 48 x 72 oil on canvas, sold for 200% retail.
